Prague – Old Town Glory

image

When in Prague, one simply must visit the old town to catch sight of the beautiful Tyn Church which literally glows at night. One of the handful of must-see classic buildings in the Old Town Square, tonight was quite nerve-wrecking as ardent fans of the local football team AC Sparta Praha (if I’m not mistaken) were out in full force in the square and so were the riot police. No incidents occurred – thank God! – although there were lots of loud explosion-sounding bangs that were rather scary! Hence, a good (and safe) spot to be at is The Tower of the Old Town Hall which offers a 360deg panoramic view of the picturesque Czech capital. Sigh, so much to see, so little time…

  1. Prague looks so gorgeous. I really would love to visit during the fall to see the orange leaves with the rooftops. Awesome post!
